The joy of collaboration

A personal project is just that: Personal. So when a bride approached me about making a personalized groom gift for her soon-to-be husband, I knew success lay in our collaborations. After multiple brainstorming sessions and several solid ideas, the bride decided the perfect gift for her groom was custom cuff links to wear on their big day. We combed through photos to find ones that truly embodied our dynamic duo. After the final selections were made, then came the job of drawing the couple in Illustrator. After some trial & error, I struck upon the perfect balance of detail needed to convey this bride's style to the desired effect of a blown away groom.
